Research on Poverty Alleviation, REPOA, is Tanzanian research organisation which specialises in economic and social research. REPOA also provides training for researchers and users of research findings. In addition, REPOA is involved with the development of policy for pro-poor growth and poverty reduction.
REPOA began operating in early 1995 as a Tanzanian non-profit non-governmental organisation, and is now one of the leading independent non-profit research organisations in Tanzania.
REPOA's Annual Report for 2005 details our activities for 2005, sets out the Strategic Plan for 2005 - 2009; contains highlights from the celebration of REPOA's 10th Anniversary, and gives the history of REPOA's operations for the first ten years.
