Description:
Research on Poverty Alleviation is a Tanzanian research organisation which specialises in economic and social research. REPOA also provides training for researchers and users of research findings and works with stakeholders to develop policy for pro-poor growth and poverty reduction. REPOA began operating in 1995 as a Tanzanian non-profit non-governmental organisation, and is now one of the leading independent research organisations in Tanzania.
REPOA’s 2006 Annual Report details:
