Mission:
The mission of Boston's Courageous Sailing Center, a self-sustaining educational program, is to provide a fun, safe, accessible environment that promotes positive life skills and values through the sport of sailing.
Courageous Sailing Center was established in 1987 as a public charity designed to provide every child of Boston the opportunity to learn the sport of sailing free of charge. Courageous has since rown into a dynamic, multifaceted educational and recreational facility. Courageous programs teach children a challenging new activity, life skills of effective leadership and communication, as well as an appreciation of our surrounding environment.
