Neighbors Allied for Good Growth (NAG)is a community planning and environmental/economic justice organization based in the Northside section of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. NAG developed out of our neighborhood's desire to recapture its waterfront, to reduce local environmental hazards, and to advocate for public policies that promote healthy mixed-use communities. NAG's activist approach to these issues is guided by the principle that all of our community should be given an equal chance to participate in the leadership of local mobilization efforts, in the design of a future vision for our neighborhood, and in direct negotiations with the public and private actors.
