Mission:
UNITE HERE is a progressive labor organization, fighting for dignity, living wages and affordable health care for low wage workers. UNITE HERE represents approximately 440,000 workers in the hotels, textiles, industrial laundry, gaming and food service industries throughout the United States and Canada.
UNITE HERE organizes the invisible members of our society-the women, people of color and immigrants washing dishes, making beds and folding laundry. These workers face discrimination, unsanitary and unsafe working conditions and have to work 2 - 3 jobs to support their families.
