With a reputation for rigorous due diligence, EdVestors has drawn new money into urban education and has become a respected and accessible resource for private donors and investors as well as emerging education leaders focused on strengthening urban schools. Launched by a group of philanthropists in 2002, and incubated at The Boston Foundation for its first three years, EdVestors recently located to independent space in the newly-renovated YWCA building in Boston’s Back Bay.
