Mission:
Founded in 1973 as the first community based social service agency in the Korean community, KCS is a voluntary, non-profit, 501(C) (3) social service agency supported by government agencies, foundations, corporations and concerned individuals.
KCS helps low-income Korean American individuals and families to address critical needs, solve complex problems, and adapt to a new cultural, economic, and social environment. KCS serves over 1,000 individuals a day through its various programs in the areas of Community, Aging, and Public Health.
For 32 years, KCS has been working diligently to improve the quality of immigrants¡¯ life in Korean American community, and our staff is dedicated to opening doors and leading the way to new opportunities. We have turned hope into reality for thousands of individuals and families. We have enabled many new immigrants to help themselves and, in turn, help others.
