To share perspectives through modern dance, theater and kinetic storytelling; to offer cultural exchanges in the United States and abroad with a specific focus on developing African contemporary dance, and discussing issues of race, class, gender and assimilation, through workshops, readings and the production of new works for dance companies; to examine societal conditioning, raise a wide range of cultural perspectives in select communities, and to engage and educate the community at large; to create, perform, tour and sponsor a repertory involving exchanges in accordance with the mission of Evidence, Inc. and to participate in discussion forums as part of such sponsorship; to collaborate with writers and visual artists who maintain an interest in contributing to and contextualizing current tales and acknowledged history; and to hold classes, meetings and discussions with community artists from different fields.
