Mission:
Helping people since 1979, New Hope is a non-profit organization that works to strengthen individuals and families by ending domestic and sexual violence ... Through Mentoring, Prevention, Intervention & Treatment Services." We provide services to: (1) survivors of domestic violence and their children (24 hr hotline, emergency shelter, transitional housing, legal advocacy, support groups, counseling, safety planning); (2) victims of rape, incest and other sexual assaults (hotline, hospital/police/court accompaniment, counseling, groups);(3) individuals who have abused their partners (certified batterers’ intervention program with over 40 weekly group sessions); (4) children and parents who require supervised visitation (visits in a safe, home-like setting with staff present); (5) schools, community and business groups (an array of educational offerings, for all ages, on issues of our expertise such as: personal safety, child assault prevention, bullying and harassment, date rape, and all forms of relationship violence.)
