Mission:
Based in Cambridge, MA, the Asian University for Women Support Foundation is planning the academic program, building the infrastructure, and raising the funds to support the creation of an independent university for Asian women. This University, to be located in Bangladesh, will serve women from the poorest countries in Asia with comprehensive pre-matriculation remedial, liberal arts undergraduate, graduate, and leadership development programs. The Asian University for Women is scheduled to open to students in September of 2007, with construction beginning shortly.
