Mission:
The Children's Law Center of Connecticut seeks to protect the interest of poor children in family court and to advocate for policies, which advance their well-being. Through its programs and services, the Children’s Law Center seeks to create safe, stable environments for children whose parents are in chronic conflict. Cases where the Law Center provides legal advocates for children are among the worst that come before the court. In addition to the requirement of indigence cases must also be exacerbated by allegations of domestic violence, substance abuse, child abuse/neglect, mental illness or other chronic conflict.
