Mission:
Ensuring every student has the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to be successful throughout their lives is the commontheme of the Somerville Public Schools. During the 2006-2007 school year, the District is focused on several goals and related objectives designed to address this common vision. These include:
Improve learning by implementing the Someville curriculum and instruction standards in all classrooms and programs
Establishing coordination regarding compliance and equity for MCAS progress and AYP requirements in all choolsand departments
Continuing to promote open lines of communication among stakeholder groups in Somerville
Improving the security, health, and sense fo safety and well-being in all schools for all students, staff and families.
