Mission:
Since 1812 New York City Mission Society has been a force for positive change in the lives of New Yorkers in need. Today, New York City Mission Society continues its rich legacy of service to the city's most vulnerable communities. We focus our eforts on education, personal growth and development, prevention and arts and recreation. Current programs are conducted in New York City public schools and at our Minisink Town House, a thriving community center in the heart of Harlem.
New York City Mission Society's mission is to provid a warm and loving environment for children and families living in difficult circumstances. We do this by creating growth and learning opportunities for children, teens, adults and the elderly in New York City communities; providing relevant, comprehensive, integrated and high quality services; and by working collaboratively with faith and community-based organizations, schools, businesses and government.
