Mission:
Bronx AIDS Services was founded with the sole purpose of developing HIV/AIDS Services for Bronx residents living with HIV/AIDS. the goals of BAS are reflected in the mission statement developed by the Board of Directors:
*To address all HIV/AIDS related issues with sensitivity...
*To deliver comprehensive and compassionate services...
*To facilitate the development of service systems...to ensure residents affected by HIV/AIDS receive adequate food, housing, education, health and human services to meet their needs.
*To provide HIV/AIDS prevention information, education...including awareness of options and...self determination.
*To assume a leadership position in advocating and promoting the availability of comprehensive services for people affected by HIV/AIDS.
