In 1987 the Thurgood Marshall College Fund was established to help students wishing to
attend one of the 38 Historically Black Public Colleges and Universities. Today, TMSF supports 44 member colleges and universities, by providing merit scholarships to academically talented students, along with programmatic and capacity building support to the institutions.
