Mission:
The Organic Trade Association is the business association representing the organic trade including organic food, fiber and personal care products, in North America. The mission of the OTA is to promote and protect the growth of organic trade to benefit the environment, farmers, the public and the economy. OTA envisions organic products becoming a significant part of everyday life, enhancing people's lives and the environment. Established in 1985 as the Organic Foods Production Association of North America, OTA promotes organic products in the marketplace and protects the integrity of organic standards. OTA represents organic trade in both the United States and Canada.
