Mission:
The mission of the Archdiocesan Housing Authority (AHA) is to develop and manage a continuum of housing opportunities and options for low income, homeless and special needs individuals and families living in Western Washington. AHA provides shelters, day centers, transitional and permanent housing, along with those services necessary for people to live with dignity. At the Archdiocesan Housing Authority, housing is more than buildings, it is about building
"community", where people give help, and in turn, receive help.
We do not do this in isolation. We work in cooperation and partnership with government, with the for-profit and non-profit world, with staff, volunteers and with those in need in order to more effectively create decent affordable housing with appropriate services, and to participate in the decisions that affect the lives of those we serve.
