Mission:

Lutheran Family Health Center's Department of Community-based Programs is a network of family strengthening programs designed to address the needs of children, youth, adults, and families.

Located in a culturally diverse, urban community, our services include adult & family education, early childhood education, therapeutic services for children with special needs, community service and volunteerism, community health education and advocacy, older adult services, counseling and family support, and after-school programming.

Our Mission: To be responsive to evolving family & community issues by building on each family’s strengths; affirming each family’s cultural, ethnic, and linguistic identities; helping families function in a diverse, multicultural society; and using best practices and participatory group management.
