Mission:
Henry Street Settlement opens doors of opportunity to enrich lives and enhance human progress for Lower East Side residents and other New Yorkers through social services, arts, and health care programs.
Our programs include transitional shelter and employment training for homeless families; a community mental health clinic; meals, activities and assistance for the elderly; youth leadership, education and job training; as well as a nationally recognized arts center. Many of our programs have become national models for the delivery of social services.
