Description:
Art in Tanzania is a Tanzanian NGO that has some 100 volunteers in the country all year around. We receive some 1,000 volunteers and interns annually. Our own staff is some 60 people whereby 7 are expatriates. We facilitate numerous projects around the country.
This particular project is to assist the Tanzanian talented youth in art & music and handicraft related projects.
We are facilitating a music recording studio, African traditional bands, hip hop artists, stone cutting & polishing & Jewelry making line, batik printing operations and mosaic class carving operations among others. The task is to teach the young talents as well as to train underprivileged groups as women groups to make income generating operations.
The project fee is usd 230 per week including airport transports, accommodation, breakfast and dinner, cleaning, security, 24 hours staff attendance, guiding and orientation. In addition we perform safaris and adventures for fund raising.
