Description:

CIDT carries out translation projects for international and local organisations in Cairo, as well as organisations in Europe and elsewhere in the Middle East.

The Center for Intercultural Dialogue and Translation (CIDT) has developed from a private initiative in 1994 and today provides accurate translations from Arabic to English (and of course English to Arabic).
Much of our work centers around translating news articles and reports that appear in a range of Arabic newspapers, and which are of particular interest or relevance to intercultural and Arab-West relations. These translations are then made available to students, researchers, journalists and others through the Arab-West Report (AWR), a weekly electronic digest of translated summaries from articles in the Arab media that is published by the Arab-West Foundation.
