I am a speaker on issues related to domestic violence especially dv in communities of color and currently provide public trainings on domestic violence, teen dating violence prevention. Vitae provided upon request.
Currently, I am the Prevention Education Coordinator for the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence.
With several years experience in the domestic violence field, my career began in Georgia where I served as the Public Awareness/ Training and Membership Coordinator for the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
In this role, I helped to coordinate one of the country’s first domestic violence conference planned entirely by survivors of domestic violence.
Additionally, I am the author of Dirty Laundry-Women of Color Speak up about Domestic and Dating Violence. This series of candid interviews chronicles the lives of African American women from all walks of life and their experiences with intimate partner violence and incest.
Because of the buzz created by Dirty Laundry, I frequently speaks on panels, facilitates workshops and has published articles on domestic violence across the country.
