If you self identify as LGBT/Queer/Genderqueer or same-gender-loving, and have 5 hours per month to spare, then check us out! The Peer Listening Line and GLBT Helpline of Fenway Community Health provide information, referral and support to lesbian, bisexual, gay, transgender, queer, genderqueer and same-gender-loving callers through our anonymous toll-free nationwide lines. If you are interested in volunteering, contact the Program Coordinator, Joanna Winslow at
jwinslow@fenwayhealth.org or 617-927-6242 for a volunteer application.
We are especially in need of people of color, women, bisexual, transgender and genderqueer volunteers. We accept volunteer 16 years of age and up. Come be the voice that answers our community’s call!
A 25-hour, weekend-long training is mandatory for all new volunteers and we request a minimum commitment of a 1/2 hour shift ever week or every-other week for 6 months.
