Position: Environment awareness Volunteer
Duty Stations: Rural and Urban Parts of Nepal
Contract: 2 Weeks to 5 Months
The mission of this program is to help community organizations that are doing some thing different in protecting environment. Cus- Nepal runs this program jointly with local community based organizations in rural and urban parts of Nepal.
Basically volunteers will assist staff members from our partner organizations in carrying out the programs at the grassroots level. Volunteers will be involved in conducting programs which are already designed by partner organizations such as organizing training, workshop, talk program etc. Moreover volunteer will also be involved in local campaigns like afforesting, avoiding plastics, preserving wild lives etc. Sometimes volunteer will teach environment education in local schools.

*The program is to be paid in cash. Due to the resource constraint we do not accept credit cards.
The Program Fee covers
Transport Airport and placement pick-up and drop-off
Nepali food and accommodations during the orientation and volunteering
Two days sighting seeing in Kathmandu
Nepal language and culture orientation and other training
Himalayan Trekking, food and accommodation during trekking, trekking permit, trekking guide.
The program fee does not cover
Personal expenses
Food and accommodation out side volunteering and orientation
Visa purchase and extension fee
Medical and insurance
Transportation to and from Trekking point
Beverage and additional porter for trekking
Laundry services, communication with your friends and family to your country
Trekking gears such as shoes, rock shack, cloths, first aid kit, etc.
Refund policy
Community Upliftment Society Nepal is not liable to refund, if one paid to other organizations and individuals. We have not authorized any individuals and organizations to collect money.
75% refund before start orientation
50% refund before commence to volunteer
25% after start to volunteer
No refund can be made after two weeks
