Description:
The long term volunteer opportunities is an opening for volunteers who have professional skills to share or students who wants to intern or volunteer and research. The volunteers help in a community that is in dire need or attached to an organization which is involved with their type of skill. They stay in the country for as long as they like but does not extend 2 years. We will establish the necessary links that will enable the volunteers have a smooth entry by selecting the appropriate organization to work in. We will draw up a memorandum of understanding on behalf of the volunteer and the organization and basically be a link. WCK will also assist in looking for host families for those interested or a place to stay for those who wish to live by themselves. All this will be established once the volunteer gets in touch with us on his/her requirements.
Research students are encouraged to come and do their researches with us.
We have also partnered with tour operators who give us special rates for our volunteers who are interested in visiting our beautiful game reserves and national parks.
Costs
100 Euros for registration and 75Euros per week
Costs include:
Food and Accommodation.
In country orientation and training
In country staff support
