Every day, the American Red Cross assists people in emergency situations -- whether it's half a million disaster victims or one sick child who needs blood. Our vital work is made possible by people like you, who know how good it can feel to lend a helping hand. Red Cross "everyday heroes" come from all walks of life, all ages. Everyone has something special to offer - including you. Join the hundreds of Greenwich community members who volunteer their time and talents to the Red Cross.

The American Red Cross- Greenwich Chapter would like to invite you to join our group of volunteers and play an integral role in local sporting and community events by providing basic and temporary care while awaiting the arrival of EMS, if necessary. Volunteers are trained (free of charge) by the Red Cross to assist with general first aid requirements. This is a perfect opportunity for youths and adults seeking weekend volunteer opportunities lasting a few hours. We ask all volunteers to partake in the CPR and First Aid training courses, are aged 16 years and up, and are able to remain calm in emergency situations.

This is a great opportunity for those who are looking to volunteer, but are restricted to weekends or for high school and college students looking to stand out and meet new and interesting people. Feel free to volunteer as a group, with your family and friends or come alone and work with our other friendly and dedicated volunteers.
