Blood Drive Volunteers

The American Red Cross- Greenwich Chapter supports approximately 40 local Blood Drives a year. We hold drives at Temple Sholom, St. Mary’s Church, First Congregational Church, Second Congregational Church, Greenwich High School, the Greenwich Town Hall as well as many other locations.

Blood Services volunteers work at our community and corporate blood drives. Volunteers are in charge of registering donors, assisting as donor aids, providing drinks and food at canteen stations, observing donors for reactions after they donate and working as chairman of the day to oversee the drive. Volunteers are also needed to send out monthly blood drive schedules and help publicize the drives with posters and flyers. If you are unavailable the day of the blood drive we are always looking for volunteers are also needed to shop for groceries for the drives as well as assisting with setup and closing as well as making reminder phone calls.

If you are interested in getting involved with the Greenwich Chapter’s Blood Services please contact : Andrew at Sindella@usa.redcross.org or call us at 203-869-8444.
