Description:
Chat, play board games, enjoy a pool game or cards in a relaxed atmosphere. Get to know a variety of people while participating in various activities such as arts & crafts, watching a movie or preparing healthful snacks. The CSP’s Member Hours occurs four weekday afternoons and one evening each week, choose what fits your schedule. Team of two volunteers can work together. Share your computer skills or teach a workshop, if you’re interested!
Duties:
• Be friendly, respectful and encouraging to the members. Play board games or be engaged in light conversation. Treat every member equally and respectfully.
• Respect members’ individuality and privacy.
• Nurture the member’s self-esteem, self-confidence and trust in others.
• Be on time and prepared to assist. May need to occasionally drive (optional).
• Coordinate any requests and maintain communication with staff contact.
