This manager is responsible for the overall development, implementation, ongoing support and maintenance of an information security system including computer applications, IT internal controls and business continuity. Responsibilities include: Develop and manage a comprehensive information security/privacy program providing an enterprise-wide business information protection system Oversee and coordinate the evaluation, design, implementation and maintenance of safeguards to protect the confidentiality, availability and integrity of critical information Manage the IT security function and development Evaluate existing IT systems, policies, procedures, maintain new policies, procedures, and internal controls as required. Conducts regular internal IT security and control audits and works with outside consultants for independent audits. Ensure compliance with all applicable security, controls, and privacy legislation. Leads preparation of the organization's emergency management and contingency plans.

Skills
Years of experience working in Information Security within a large complex data driven organization. Years of experience working with risk analysis, internal control frameworks, IT audit, and business continuity planning. Exposure to complex distributed networks, applications, products and platforms. Knowledge of current and emerging security products such as identity management, tokens, Public Key Infrastructure, Web access management tools, Web applications, intrusion detection, incidence response, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing. Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills to provide direction and guidance to executive management, audit committee, internal departments as well as external partners. Bachelors Degree or better in a technical discipline.
