Description:

The Environmental Community works with 72 member organizations assisting them by expand their memberships and running successful campaigns toward creating positive change. Each of these groups is linked by one primary goal of contributing toward saving our Earth. We are presently looking to add numerous positions due to a national expansion of both member and advocacy groups.
In addition we have 15 entities that are establishing or expanding Chapters in major cities across the U.S. We anticipate hiring and adding a minimum of 30 additional Club Managers and placing a team of 3 to 5 Chapter Managers working to oversee all Chapter requirement for our member groups. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Coordinate behind the scene administrative duties these will all in time be fully automated • Co-host key events, activities, and programs to fast track the building of each group • Communicate event schedules to maintenance department staff and set-up/take-down crew • Responsible for populating and achieving positive results while rapidly building groups • Able to answer all questions toward facilitating positive results while rapidly building groups • Use the Club Management System in order to track events while optimizing for rapid growth • Communicate progress to top management personnel on a regular basis in weekly written reports and bi-monthly face to face meetings • Have a good eye for detail and excellent follow-up to maintain a high level of professionalism • Help create PowerPoint and other multi-media presentations to win and excite audiences • Compile satisfaction surveys to help determine how to modify presentations or events to maximize positive results and overall efficiency • Complete any necessary tasks determined to be necessary by top management • Attend seminars and classes for related training • Complete timely reports and detail event planning and coordination • Maintain an excellent relationship with all managers including any Activist Managers • Return calls in a timely manner and coordinate a synergistically designed team effort.

Skills
Knowledge/Experience: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work and education experience to succeed at the job • Quick learner, independently strong while being a solid team player • Track record demonstrating a high degree of success • Hold current CPR and First Aid Certification a plus • Previous experience in building a grassroots organization or business a major plus • Experience and success in a continuously improving and evolving work environment • Possess a valid drivers license • Posses a winning attitude and ability to convey a charged message to large audiences • Ability to successfully manage a team large enough to establish assigned organizations across the U.S. during the first year. Skills/Abilities: • Productivity: great attendance, good work quality, positive contributor, team player, strong people skills and works well with others • Innovation: assists in resolving situations and concerns in a totally effective manner • Honesty: truthful, trustworthy, doing what is right and what needs to be done, is fair and objective, possesses integrity and treats others with maturity • Loyalty: committed to the goals of the organization, the nature of the business, respects the organization’s efforts, defends the company name, and gives the best effort and sincerity • Initiative: ability to think, work and make independent decisions based on sound judgment • Demonstrates high level of proficiency in PC technology, Club Management System and all MS Office applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Excellent written and verbal skills • Excellent time management, organizational and follow-up skills • Ability to manage competing priorities and assignments • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment where continuous improvement is expected • Flexible and adaptable to rapid change.
