Skills
Bachelors Degree and two or more years of successful fundraising or outside sales, or, have a highly successful sales record with ample managerial skills. Combine existing theoretical knowledge and practical skill while accommodating an ever expanding philanthropic campaign management portfolio including, but not limited to, event planning and volunteer management. Demonstrate strong leadership acumen and excellent managerial skills in recruiting, selecting, training, motivating, reviewing, coaching, developing, and retaining a high performance sales and service team. Own responsibility for developing revenue, expense, staffing and profit budgets to maximize profit growth and reduce costs. Experience managing teams of five or more sales people ideally over a wide, multi-city geographic sales territory. Develop and direct sponsorships by conducting market research; evaluating branding opportunities; developing objectives; exploring all marketing and lead-gathering opportunities; negotiating marketing and sales rights; measuring and evaluating sales results. The ability to travel locally, regionally and nationally. Work directly with a variety of different groups, helping each constituency to exploit its inherent strengths in order to design a campaign that meets or exceeds expectations, consistent with our groups values and goals. Build transferable skills, cross train and create a solid foundation that will successfully establish our unique and highly skilled fundraising group.
