Description:
People-Power is hiring both Personnel and HR Managers will implement ads, work with employment agencies, head hunters and organizations to initiate a highly innovative personnel management system. Specific details will not be released until these managers have signed extensive Agreements and have sufficiently demonstrated their commitment to the enterprise. Our various managers will work on creating policies, procedures all within the overall business structure. Position will include coaching, counseling, strategies, hiring, retention and employee relations while adhering to all federal, state and local employment and civil rights law. We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate how they can be a proactive leader. The managers we are seeking need to be clear and calm communicators able to handle emergencies, facilitate meetings and establish rapport with both peers and managers. Prior HR, personnel or communications experience preferred. Candidates must have two or more years of solid experience, management experience, and a college degree. Must be able to demonstrate a cooperative team based approach with solid communication skills. Top candidates will take initiative and resolve potential conflicts by resolving them in a quick and effective manner. Act as a liaison between staff and management as needed • Oversee human relations in a variety of areas • Work with department managers to determine openings and strategies to filling them • Process all employee new-hire and termination procedure work as it relates their position • Manage the termination process and associate’s personnel information with diligence and confidentiality, as the situation requires. • Continuously review and revise policies and procedures to maintain best business practices • Help recognize and reward top associates Training: Develop and implement training programs to help foster a positive working atmosphere and create awareness in policy, procedure and safety for all personnel • Perform new-hire orientations as needed to acclimate associates • Initiate management training programs toward developing highly effective managers • Work with managers to ensure timely review / recognition programs • Consistently reinforce training programs regarding risk management, safety, harassment and other legal issues.
Skills
Develop overall labor relations philosophy and implement policies and procedures • Represent the company in all legal matters as they pertain to HR • International experience is a major plus • Supervise a program to provide unique pay structures for all exempt and non-exempt personnel insuring a system that rewards performance while adhering to policies • Work to insure all personnel are informed as to programs, policies, procedures and benefits • Submit suggestions to keep company's benefits package cost effective while attracting top performers and loyal personnel • Provide guidance and develop candidates to develop an aggressive personnel and HR staff.
