Description
• Author, edit, and manage website content for and manage production deployments for numerous sites • Manage website redesign projects to ensure branding throughout • Coordinate marketing, legal and compliance approvals • Oversee website development and implementation • Perform usability assessments, create events, activities and programs for each membership group • Establish and coordinate set-up and take down crews • Communicate schedules to programming and all other managers Web Content Managers are responsible for daily web and maintenance activities relating to all web sites. Job functions include: • Analyze new content for appropriate placement while promptly posting daily updates throughout all sections of all assigned sites • Implement content translations using designated software • Coordinate periodic review for accuracy and content relevance including biographies and photos • Develop an solid working relationship with support staff, IT, Media Relations, Graphic Designers, Legal and Office Management • Introduce and follow-up on assigned projects • Provide insight for future website enhancements and initiatives • Perform functional testing and work with team to debug all problems • Ensure timely response to inquiries submitted via “Contact Us” page • Help develop a proficient content management software system.
Skills
Successful candidates are self-starters with years of experience as a webmaster, web producer, or web content manager. Most ideal candidates will have years of experience in project management. Must possess outstanding writing, editing and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail. • BA or BS degree • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, paying close attention to detail and successfully meet deadlines • The ability to interact with all people within the organization • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Creative problem solving skills • General appreciation of layout and design. • PC proficiency, including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) • Please submit a one writing sample with application.
