Youth Social Development Volunteers are able to assist primary and high school teachers, develop and conduct after-school activities (in art, music, or sports), organize and run summer day camps, identify at-risk youth and recommend targeted interventions, or work on Cornerstone’s newsletter for mid-level students.

Cornerstone provides accommodations (dorm style), a hot home cooked Belizean midday meal on work days, orientations (volunteer, house, cultural, office, and program), staff direction, professional networking, mentoring, and office space (including equipment and supplies).

Cornerstone’s office and housing are located in San Ignacio in the Cayo District of Belize (11 miles from Guatemala). Volunteer terms range from three to six months. Applicants must be 18 years or older. Students, retirees, and other adults are welcome to apply.
