CAS-Nepal is a non profit making, non political & non governmental organization working in the field of community development. It has been offering many opportunities to every people for the upliftment of rural pminority communities in Nepal.
Community Advancement Society-Nepal lets you a chance to make an important contribution to the people of Nepal and great experience to self by understanding culture and its people. One could have lots of knowledge and experience about the assigned work, Nepali culture, its people and people' economic status. CAS-Nepal opens your door to see yourself and to help others as well.
CAS-Nepal has been running the volunteering opportunities. Volunteers have the opportunity to participate in a variety of educational and community aid programs. Volunteering program in CAS- Nepal provides a suitable environment and assistance for those who want to render their services to Nepal. CAS-Nepal also provides opportunity to conduct research on volunteers' desired areas. We have many rural locations in Nepal where we can place volunteers from 2 weeks to 5 months. Volunteering in CAS-Nepal is available to an individual or to a group.
We warmly welcome you to join with our customized volunteer opportunities to render your expertise and services in the following program areas:-
Ø Teaching English in school and Village Learning Center (VLC)

Ø Raise awareness on sanitation and environmental issues.

Ø Develop income generating &training projects on weaving, craft skills, business & marketing skills etc.

Ø Provide administrative support and computer trainings.

Ø Sponsorship Programs (Child Sponsorship, Project Sponsorship& School Sponsorship).

Ø Provide primary health education &health check up.

Ø Financial & expertise support to small farmers.

Ø Research opportunities on desired areas.

Our fee structure is designed in such a afoordable way that everyone can join with us for optimized volunteering opportunities.
Application Fee:$25( Non refundable)

Program Fees
- Two weeks $250
- One month $350
- One and half month $440
- Two months $530
- Three months $660
- Four months $740
- Five months $800

The above cost includes the following :
- Transportation to and from Kathmandu airport.
- Transportation to and from Placements.
- Accommodation and meal during training period and placement.
- Nepali language and cultural information class.
- Administrative cost.
- Contribution to CAS-Nepal projects e.g. Child learning center and youth mobilization activities in village.

In addition, it excludes your flight ticket in Nepal and visa fees.

If you wish to spend more time in Kathmandu pre and post placement period, it is advisable to go trekking and sight seeing etc. Please remember to budget accordingly. This cost will not be covered by CAS-Nepal. Additionally, volunteers are responsible for any incidentals (extra food, laundry, and sodas) occurred during training and placement.

The program fees should be paid either in local currency or US Dollar upon arrival in Kathmandu.

- Full refund- Before starting training Program.
- 50% refund - After training before placement.
