The clients in the Shanti Program are wrestling with grief and loss or with a life-threatening illness, one of which is HIV/AIDS. In addition to the One-to-One Program, Shanti volunteers also provide emotional and listening support to two long-term care residential facilities and eight correctional facilities in western Washington. The Shanti Program provides emotional support to over 300 clients through its various service options.
