Description:

There are many ways for folks with bike mechanic skills to get involved at Neighborhood Bike Works.

- As an Assistant Instructor at our drop-in sessions. These free-form sessions for EAB program graduates take place every Saturday from 9:30-11:30 and 12-2 at 3916 Locust Street, and 12-4 at 60th and Vine. Program graduates stop in to work on their own bikes (with your help!) or to participate in advanced lessons with our instructors.

- At bike safety checks throughout the city. NBW youth, staff and volunteers head to bike races, triathlons, block parties and tons of other events throughout the city to have fun while making minor repairs to people's bikes. These events usually occur on weekend mornings or afternoons.

- As facilitators for our "Bike Church" adult co-op program.

How to Apply:

Please send an email to volunteers@neighborhoodbikeworks.org or give us a call at (215) 386-0316 if you are interested.
