Description:
CAS-Nepal is looking for a volunteer who will spend some time (1-4 months) observing the main activities of our organisation and then assist with planning and fund-raising for a variety of projects. The majority of fund-raising activities will be centered around building contacts with funding organizations and writing and submitting project proposals, but may also include whatever activities the volunteer may see fit. . In addition, the volunteer's activities must not be strictly limited to fund-raising. He/she is welcome to assist in field-work, strategic planning, and other activities as per volunteers' interest.
Once his/her assignment is over, the volunteer may try to form a support organisation in their country and try to help our organisation in fundraising and reaching out to international NGOs by providing information about our activities and sharing their experience at CAS-Nepal.
Volunteers with previous experience in in NGO management and/or proprosal writing are preferable. General computer skills (typing, internet search, etc.) are strongly encouraged. CAS-Nepal is happy to provide training for the volunteer to help them learn about our work.
We charge fees just to cover your accomodation, food and travels here in Nepal.Fee structure depends on your duration of stay.
This position is located in Chitwan -Nepal.
You will be staying with local hospitable villagers eating traditional Nepali food at your host home.
