Description:
Community Advancement society -Nepal offers affordable and customized volunteering opportunities in beautiful himalayan country Nepal.Programs are in different areas such as :teaching english,health & sanitation work,Medical work, Culture exchange and home stay ,Orphanage work , environment awareness programs and so on in many fields.
For home stay & culture exchange ,anyone from any gparts of world and age group can join .
This is suitable to anyone who has a keen interest in Nepali culture and tradition. After the completion of intensive Nepali language training, volunteers will stay with Nepali family in village through participation in village life. Volunteers will experience the different local culture while sharing their own culture and custom. This program can be arranged in most areas of Nepal. Volunteers gain cross-cultural experience through this program. The program is suitable for family, an individual or a group. There is no age bar. This is a unique opportunity to experience Nepal differently that traces a lasting impression.
[Home stay program is best organized from August to December. This is the time of festivals in Nepal that you can have exciting experience celebrating festivals with Nepali family.]
Our fee structure is more affordable that everyone can join with us for optimized volunteering opportunities.

Program Fees
- Two weeks $250
- One month $350
- One and half month $440
- Two months $530
- Three months $660
- Four months $740
- Five months $800
The above cost includes the following :
- Transportation to and from Kathmandu airport.
- Transportation to and from Placements.
- Accommodation and meal during training period and placement.
- Nepali language and cultural information class.
- Administrative cost.
- Contribution to CAS-Nepal projects e.g. Child learning center and youth mobilization activities in village.
In addition, it excludes your flight ticket in Nepal and visa fees.
If you wish to spend more time in Kathmandu pre and post placement period, it is advisable to go trekking and sight seeing etc. Please remember to budget accordingly. This cost will not be covered by CAS-Nepal. Additionally, volunteers are responsible for any incidentals (extra food, laundry, and sodas) occurred during training and placement.
The program fees should be paid either in local currency or US Dollar upon arrival in Kathmandu.
