Description:
The Blood Drive Coordinator acts as the liaison between the site, staff, volunteers, and chapter to ensure a smooth blood drive. Responsibilities include:
• Assisting with coordination of refreshments and supplies when needed
• Attending and participating in monthly Blood Services Council Meetings
• Helping the Chapter keep up with volunteer records and paperwork
Time Commitment/Shifts:
As needed, must commit to the entire length of the drive, including preparation and clean up (6-8 hours)
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational skills
• Supervisory experience preferred
Training/Support:
•Volunteer Orientation & Fulfilling Our Mission (4hours)
•NEPA Blood Services Training (2 hours)
•Shadow a current drive coordinator for one full blood drive
