Description:

The Blood Services Committee Chair promotes blood services activities, convenes regular meetings of the Blood Services Committee at least quarterly and oversees the activities and services of the Blood Services Program including volunteer support, tele-recruiting, recruitment of sponsors, etc.

Time Commitment/Shifts:
4 hours per month

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Working knowledge of both ARC/GNY and relevant American Red Cross blood services region
• Ability to manage and motivate
• Knowledge of the community
• Problem solving and decision making skills

Training/Support:
•Volunteer Orientation & Fulfilling Our Mission(4 hours)
•Orientation to Blood Services Program (2 hours)
