Description:
Blood Services Health Volunteers staff American Red Cross blood drives by taking the donor’s temperature, performing a finger stick for hemoglobin determination, conducting interviews for medical health history and documenting donor information. This is done while maintaining the confidentiality of donor information.
Time Commitment/Shifts:
As needed, 6-8 hours per blood drive
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Experience measuring blood pressure and taking pulse
• Comfortable completing hemoglobin determination
• Medical/Technical training a plus
Training/Support:

•Health History Training (5 hours)
•Computer Training (10 hours)
