Description:

Micro-finance Volunteer required for a small micro-finance project for poor women in the Central Highlands of Kenya.
Successful applicant would be responsible for coordinating field visits, record keeping, women meetings, micro-enterprise initiatives and community networking. Training and support may be provided.

LOCATION OF THE PROGRAM
The program is located at the Central highlands of Kenya

DURATION OF THE PROGRAM
The duration depends on the volunteer’s availability and travel arrangements. We accept volunteers both short-term, 2-4 weeks and long-term, 1- 3 months. For volunteers wanting to travel, we are able to assist with providing information.

PROGRAM FEE
US$90 per week payable prior or at the start of the placement. The program fee covers your meals, accommodation, orientation & supervision.

FOOD AND ACCOMMODATION
Food & accommodation are provided as part of the program.

AIR TICKET AND TRAVEL COSTS
Volunteers are required to purchase their own airline tickets.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS
A representative of the program will meet you at the airport upon arrival.

PERSONAL EXPENSES
internet, telephone, countryside travels, gift items, amenities etc. are available at a small fee
