Description:
In the village of the Rajasthan and Himachal region volunteer are involving with the children in healthy learning environment by interactive games and pictorial stories.
To take care of the children from their early childhood, Day Care Center (Anganbari) programs are implemented in the villages. These centers serve as pre-primary education centers. Center workers are also responsible for looking after proper vaccination and nutritious diet supplements for the growth of children. Nutrition supply is provided to the centers to distribute it to the children and to focus especially on malnourished children. The volunteers will also get involved with the children in various games and learning exercises to increase their interest and motivation and also the physical health.
Project Location: Dharmshala (Himachal), Jaipur (Rajasthan), Jiliya (Rajasthan)
Project Requirement: The only qualifications of our volunteers is that you come motivated to help needy people. We happily accommodate singles, couples and groups. If you are comfortable with your level of English, it’s probably good enough!
Project Age Limit: Minimum age 16, maximum dependent upon participant’s health
