Description:

Want to show off your culinary skills? Do you make a mean PB&J? Become a Snack Maker for our Neighbor-to-Neighbor Program!

Each Saturday, we have 20+ volunteers who collect and distribute furniture to families in need. To keep them energized all day long, we are in need of healthy snacks.

Snack making is expected to take just 2 to 4 hours per week - the time estimated to buy the ingredients, make the snack, and deliver it to our hungry volunteers. Snack makers are asked to deliver the snacks to our storage site in Silver Spring at 9:30am on Saturday morning.

Long-term commitment is preferred, but short-term volunteers are welcome too.
