Women Security Pressure Group work in the field of women right and development in order to put pressure, advocate as well as to promote the right of Nepali women. It is a non- political organization which has been utilized as a common forum for all women and organizations related to women's right. The role of the organization is to fight against all sorts of oppression, discrimination and exploitation against women and create equal and just society free from exploitation. WSPG believes in equal partnership of women and men in every sphere of life.

Volunteers interested should be of age 20 or above 20 and should have the minimum education of undergraduation.
Volunteers can help by doing following tasks:
Foreign volunteers can help at WSPG help by simply showing up with a willingness to help. This presence is motivational for local volunteers.
The staff at WSPG need assistance with administration, fund raising and program development as well as man power to mobilize volunteer efforts.

This advocacy group needs all the help it can get to achieve its goals of improving womens rights in Nepal and raising awareness of gender related issues.
Help the staff with report writing, proposal writing and language training for local volunteers.

Yes, Basecamp International welcomes all the interested non local participants to volunteer and make a difference.Upon arrival in country our staff will pick you up at the airport and return you to our Orientation Center for a safety briefing and general country orientation. For this program you are required to complete one week of language training and orientation which is included in the cost of the program. At the end of that week you will transfer to your placement to begin volunteering. Our staff are available to assist you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week should you require help of any kind.
