Description:
ASVO is a non-profit NGO which places volunteers in Costa Rica's national parks and protected areas. ASVO's objective is to improve the conditions and amount of volunteer work performed at a national and international level.
Volunteers are needed at this placement to help protect the endangered marine turtles found at Playa Hermosa and proctect the coastal-marine resources of the area.
Minimum age of the volunteers should be 18 with minimum eduation of the high school. Volunteers can help by doing following:
1. Post signs on the beaches.
2. Support in the collection of data and in the protection of eggs.
3. Collaborate in the collection of data for female turtles.
4. Locate, count, and relocate eggs.
5. Monitor incubation process.
6. Record and free newborns.
7. Carry out maintenance of infrastructure.
8. Other tasks assigned by administration
