Description:
LifeLine of Central Florida is recruiting candidates for our volunteer counselor program. Our agency operates a Comprehensive 24 hour Crisis Hotline, seven days a week. We are dedicated to providing suicide prevention, crisis intervention, and educational services.
Openings for volunteers shifts are weekdays from 8am to 12 noon and week nights 7pm to 11pm. Our 70 hour training course runs three days a week from May 26 to August 2, 2008. Orientation will be held Monday May 26 4pm to 8pm.
How to Apply:
Volunteer counselors must have strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn, and commit to providing crisis intervention services by telephone for a minimum of one year.
