Description:
The Portland Women's Crisis Line is dedicated to ending domestic and sexual violence by providing confidential support services and education to empower our community.
The Outreach and Education team is currently building a Speakers Bureau for volunteers, staff and board members to engage diverse communities in the Portland metro area of the many services of the Portland Women's Crisis Line.
Imagine speaking to nurses at a hospital or teachers at a middle school or parents at a neighborhood association meeting. Would you like to table at International Women's Day or at a public health conference or at an interfaith gathering? Are you a teen who would like to do teen-to-teen peer education?
You can do all this and more. Support the crucial work of the social services we provide and make social change through your work doing grassroots community building and education.
We encourage women, bilingual, multi-cultural, queer, gender non-conforming, and people of color to represent PWCL in the diverse Portland metro communities.
