Description:
Goals:
To keep Garden Center Services safe, clean, and up-to-date
Qualifications:
Good knowledge of the basic methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in grounds keeping work, safe working methods and procedures. Position may involve frequent lifting, pushing, and/or pulling of objects which may approximate 75 pounds and may occasionally weigh up to 100 pounds. Position requires the mobility to stand, stoop, reach and bend, grasp and manipulate small objects.
Duties:
•Serve as a “handyman.”
•Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as needed or requested
•Understand and apply all required safety and security procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and consumers
•Touch up paint where necessary
•Wash walls
•Remove wallpaper
•Assist with general routine maintenance of the facility
